Madam,
I am directed to refer to your office letter No. Rectt. / 48 – 3 / 2010, dated 15.07.2011 andsubsequent your D O letter dated 20.07.2011 to clarify the following two issues:
(i)
Whether the proposed IP Examination pertains to the year 2010 only and not for the year 2011
(ii) The cut-off date for assessing the eligibility to appear for the examination has been fixed as 30thJune, 2011. As per rule 279 / 1 – 3 ( a ) of P & T Manual , Vol. IV, the cut-off date is 1st
July preceding the date fixed for the examination
2. It is informed that the above mentioned issues have been examined in this office and the item-wise clarifications are given below:
(i) The proposed I P Examination is for the year 2011 only;
(ii) The cut-off date for assessing the eligibility to appear for the examination is 1st July, 2011
