Difficulty in sending full size images through email? Here is a simple solution to share images and videos to anybody through email. Dropbox software provides 2 GB free space for sharing images and videos. Once the Dropbox software is installed in your computer, you can share the folder containing images as a whole within a few minutes. When the recipient opens the internet connection, the folder will be downloaded automatically. Let us see the method of installation of Dropbox and the image sharing method.

Go to  https://www.dropbox.com and register an account. After registration, you can sign in to use the software. Down load the Dropbox software from http://www.dropbox.com and install in your computer. Once it is installed you will get a confirmation mail, by clicking it, you will be prompted for email address verification. Once it is done, your computer will be ready for sharing the images.

1. The Dropbox icon will be available at the right bottom corner of the desktop. Click to open it.

2. Once the folder is opened, right click on it and make a New folder as you create in desktop.

3. Copy / Cut and paste all the images from the computer or digital camera into the newly created folder in the Dropbox.

4. The images will automatically sinks in the folder and you can see a tick in each image. If it is not sinking, right click and sink.

5. Now the folder is ready to share.

6. Right click on the folder containing the images. A menu will appear like Dropbox- share this folder.

7. When you click on it, a box will appear to give the e mail address of the contact persons to share the folder. You can give any number of email addresses and can share the folder at the same time.

8. After giving the email address ,click done. Sharing will takes place instantly.

9. When sharing is done, you will get a confirmation mail when the contact person receives the folder with the photos.

 Too simple you can send photos and videos up to 2 GB which is not possible through ordinary email. The whole process takes only 2 minutes. When the contact person opens internet connection, the folder will be downloaded automatically in his computer.

Real Network Monitor is straight forward utility that helps you monitor network bandwidth on your PC.

Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool Released

Microsoft has released a new tool called as Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool that will help you resolve issues you may face with the .NET Framework on your Windows computer.

This tool troubleshoots common issues with the setup of or with updates to Microsoft .NET Framework setup installation. Additionally, this tool tries to resolve these issues by applying known fixes or by repairing the installed product. 

Specifically, the tool will typically carry out the following tasks: 

· Re-register Windows Installer service. It unregisters and re-registers the Windows Installer service using MsiExec.exe. Applicable regardless of the diagnosis results. 

· Restart Windows Installer service. It stops and restarts the Windows Installer service. Applicable regardless of the diagnosis results. 

If any additional fixes need to be applied, those too will be recommended on completion of the run. 

While one may need to troubleshoot .NET Frameworks 4.0 Install Issues on Windows manually, or run the .NET Framework Setup Cleanup Utility and try to install the .NET Framework again, running the new .NET Framework Repair Tool from Microsoft should now be the first option, should you be facing any .NET Framework issues on your Windows computer.

When our internet connection is too slow, gmail will take a longer time to load. In this case,we may have to opt basic html view. In some cases,even this html view may not load. In such a case Glink option in Weblink will help us to send email even with multiple attachments.

When we login to gmail, if our password is wrongly typed, it will not allow to login. Earlier in glink, if the password is typed incorrectly, then the entire typed message will go futile when it tries to send it. Please check your id shown at the top of the window because there is no option to correct it later.

In the updated version, if the password is wrongly typed and send button is clicked then the following error message will be shown.
Then the following option will be enabled where we can type the password again correctly and click retry to send the message.
Quick Notes:
While browsing,you may need to note something important. For this purpose,Quick Notes can be used. This will be saved in Weblink folder as Qnote.txt. Any txt files can be opened through this. Just try this.

Tool for registering DLL files

Whenever Meghdoot patches are installed, we need to register the DLL files replaced. Here is a tool created from the coding provided by Mr. Nordin Rahman. The original coding is not known.

All OCX,DLL,TLB files in a directory can be registered/unregistered.
